Hi there,

We're composites of the people around us. Family, friends, teachers, coworkers, the stranger who said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. Most of the time, we don't fully realize how much of who we are came from someone else.

I've been thinking about that a lot as I finish my MBA. And the more I sit with it, the more I want to push back on the idea that we're all hopelessly divided. Divisiveness gets the headlines. But connection is still the thing that actually moves people.

When we find what we share, when we let ourselves be inspired by someone whose life looks nothing like ours, something opens up.

It's not us against the world. It's us with the world.

This site is a collection of people, artisans, and stories that left a mark on me and made me see things a little differently. As they say in Hadestown: come see how the world could be.
