Portugal

Porto

Porto is a city that rewards patience. Tiled facades, river light, worn stone — it moves at a pace that lets you notice things. The artists I found there seem to have absorbed that. Their work doesn't announce itself. It opens slowly, the way the city does.

I'm drawn to places that stay with you after you leave, and Porto has that. Its creative culture works through observation and craft and a quiet intensity that accumulates into something vivid. You don't just pass through it.

The work on this page does something similar. It makes you feel like you've actually been somewhere — not just scrolled past it.
