Mander
Mander, also known as Martin Ander, is a professional illustrator, graphic designer, and artist who has worked freelance since 2001. Based in Gnesta / Stockholm, Sweden, he is also the art director at UP magazine, formerly Underground Productions.

My senior year of college, I spent Spring Break in frigid Stockholm on a trip where we visited the Swedish tech scene in between frequent stops at Espresso House. Near the end of the trip, a couple of us stumbled into a shop selling Mander's art. At the time, I didn't want to buy an expensive print (college era), but one of my friends bought a print of "In Memory of Slussen", an area of downtown Stockholm that was destroyed in the name of urban redevelopment. For years I thought about this print and a few years later, I connected with the artist and was able to buy a copy that's hung up in my apartment since.
